R-9A 'Arrowhead'

This is quite a step away from my usual anime pictures.

Fan art of the R-9A "Arrowhead" General Purpose Fighter of the Space Corps from the R-Type universe.

I've been a shoot-em-up and R-Type fan since I was a kid because it was different from other shooters, you had a force device which is the big ball in front of the ship that acts as a shield and increases your firepower depending on what weapon you used.

This ship is first mass produced model within the universe out of the 101 different ships researched and produced. Its well rounded but doesn't excel in any particular area making it suitable for most situations.

Its special attribute is the Wave Cannon that unleashes a burst of energy that matches the firepower of a Capital ship battery.

I might draw other variants such as the Leo, Ragnarok, Tears Shower and Strider models.
